Job description

E-Logic, Inc. seeks a Data Engineer to build, optimize, and maintain high-throughput ETL data pipelines in cloud-native environments supporting the PRAC Analytics Center. You will be responsible for data ingestion, pipeline management, schema transformation, and supporting enterprise data management (EDM) standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines across diverse public and non-public data sources.
  • Ingest and transform data from flat files, JSON, XML, Excel, APIs, and graph databases using SQL and Python.
  • Manage and optimize data within Databricks Unity Catalog and SQL Server managed instances utilizing Lakehouse architecture and streaming/batch frameworks.
  • Execute standard quality control processes to ensure data quality, data lineage, reliability, and system performance.
  • Operate and maintain existing data pipelines, catalogs, schemas, and transformation logic without service disruption.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Experience loading, managing, and optimizing data in platforms such as Azure Databricks Unity Catalog and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills; expertise with varied data formats (JSON, XML, APIs, graph DBs).
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Data Management (EDM), data governance, and data quality standards. Support for fraud detection/financial oversight environments preferred.
