Job description

Our client is a fast-growing data analytics and AI startup. This is a remote position based anywhere in the US, preferably in the Eastern Time Zone, as you will be working with a major Defense company based in Connecticut.  

We seek a dynamic and detail-oriented Solutions Architect to join the team and play a crucial role in helping clients successfully deploy and integrate our enterprise software solutions. As a Solutions Architect, you will lead customer workshops, work with enterprise data platforms, and learn semantic technologies.

You will work closely with clients to understand their unique business needs, provide expert guidance, and ensure a smooth and seamless solution. You will be responsible for configuring and customizing the software, conducting training sessions, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and ensure client satisfaction. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a client-facing environment and enjoy problem-solving while delivering impactful results in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upsell or additional services. 
  • Deploy and configure the products within enterprise customer environments.
  • Build semantic models, ontologies, and enterprise knowledge graphs.
  • Design and implement integrations with Databricks and enterprise data platforms.
  • Work closely with customer teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support AI use cases including RAG, GraphRAG, AI Agents, and enterprise search.
  • Deliver technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence the future direction of the Kobai platform.
  • Become the trusted technical advisor for strategic enterprise customers.  

Required Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in Solution Architecture, Data Engineering, AI Engineering or Technical Consulting.
  • Strong experience with Databricks.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience with Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications and data platforms.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with senior architects and engineering teams. 

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge Graphs.
  • Semantic Technologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL).
  • Enterprise Ontologies.
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol).
