  • Assist clients in designing, implementing and operating technology and process solutions to reduce data risks using Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 data protection capabilities, with an emphasis on SharePoint and OneDrive security, SharePoint lifecycle and governance, and data loss prevention
  • Prepare client-ready work products, including requirements documents, use cases, design decisions, configuration workbooks, testing scripts, governance standards, and implementation roadmaps
  • Design, configure, test, and support security capabilities such as Data Lifecycle Management, Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP), sensitivity labels, on-demand classification, Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), and SharePoint Advanced Management controls
  • Lead workstreams and day-to-day execution for assigned project responsibilities, including status tracking, issue management, stakeholder communication, and coordination across client and Deloitte teams
  • Help foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment
  • Stay current on industry trends in cyber risk, data protection, and emerging technologies

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview capabilities such as data lifecycle management, DLP, sensitivity labels, on-demand classification, data classification, or related Microsoft 365 compliance and protection features
  • 4+ years of experience with SharePoint Online and OneDrive security concepts, including permissions, sharing models, site governance, lifecycle management, and collaboration risk reduction
  • Experience gathering requirements, defining use cases, documenting solution designs, and supporting implementation or enhancement of data protection controls

  • Familiarity with data security posture management concepts such as data discovery, data classification, data access governance, posture management, and sensitive data remediation
  • Experience leading collaborative efforts across organizational silos, including multifunctional teams of IT professionals, legal/compliance teams, and business executives
  • Familiarity with change management, deployment and operational processes in large IT organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Ability to travel 25-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited Sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Professional certifications such as SC-400, SC-900, AZ-500, CISSP, CISM, or similar
  • Significant industry work experience preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint Advanced Management, SharePoint lifecycle management tooling, or related governance solutions
  • Experience with adjacent technologies such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, AvePoint, Varonis, Forcepoint DLP, or other data security and collaboration governance platforms
  • Familiarity with sophisticated multinational companies and distributed business models
  • Familiarity with HIPAA or other regulated data handling requirements in healthcare, life sciences, financial services, or other compliance-driven environments
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 data protection programs, pilots, or managed operations
