Description:

We are seeking a Quality & Risk Data Analyst who is comfortable working in a remote setting. This role serves as the primary analyst responsible for productionโ€level quality and risk data delivery. The analyst is expected to work independently, manage recurring deadlines, and ensure data accuracy across multiple systems. Typical job responsibilities include but are not limited to:ย

  • Log into SQL environments to run, debug, optimize, and maintain complex queries that extract and transform healthcare dataย

  • Build and maintain reproducible SQL logic that implements business rules for HEDIS and claimsโ€based quality metricsย
  • Produce, publish, and verify outbound reports and data files, including uploads to external vendor or portal systems, ensuring postโ€delivery accuracyย
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation and selfโ€service runbooks for data processes, validation steps, and change controlย

Mustโ€Have Requirementsย

  • 5+ years of experience as a data analyst in a complex, dataโ€heavy environmentย
  • Advanced SQL skills, including writing, debugging, and optimizing complex queries across multiple tables and schemasย
  • Proven experience owning recurring, productionโ€level data processes endโ€toโ€end with minimal supervisionย
  • Hands on experience working with multiple data streams simultaneously, including reconciling and validating data across systemsย
  • Strong understanding of data validation, QA, and data quality controls; actively questions results rather than trusting outputs blindlyย
  • Experience with healthcare quality measures (e.g., HEDIS, ) and/or claims and financial dataย
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot data issues by tracing problems to source tables, upstream feeds, or ETL logicย
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment without stepโ€byโ€step runbooks; able to build and refine personal processes using technical specs and experienceย
  • Experience using source control/versioning and participating in peer reviewsย

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Healthcare experience preferredย
  • Experience with SSRS or similar reporting tools and report delivery workflowsย
  • Familiarity with IBM AS/400 (iSeries) or systems interfacing with legacy claims platformsย
  • Background supporting IPA/MSO medical management modelsย
  • Experience automating or supporting analysis using Python, C#, or similar scripting languagesย
  • Prior experience delivering data to external vendors or portals (e.g.,ย Cozevaย or similar platforms)ย

$55.00/hrย to $58.62/hr.ย
