Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to help drive transformation, automation, and AI initiatives across key business areas. This role partners closely with business and technology teams to assess opportunities, shape future-state solutions, and support decisions that improve efficiency, customer experience, and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to understand business goals, current-state challenges, risks, constraints, and desired outcomes.
  • Analyze end-to-end processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, control needs, data issues, and opportunities for automation or improvement.
  • Develop future-state process and solution recommendations aligned with business strategy, compliance, and operational needs.
  • Evaluate solution options, including build vs. buy, automation vs. manual approaches, and enterprise vs. fit-for-purpose alternatives.
  • Perform high-level feasibility assessments covering integrations, dependencies, architecture considerations, delivery complexity, and implementation readiness.
  • Create clear visual materials such as process maps, capability views, journey maps, operating model diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
  • Support business case development with cost-benefit analysis, prioritization input, effort sizing, and value assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC, from idea intake through implementation support and post-launch validation.
  • Identify opportunities to apply automation, analytics, intelligent document processing, and AI to business challenges.
  • Help translate complex business and technical topics into concise, executive-ready recommendations and decision materials.
Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, business systems analysis, solution analysis, process improvement, business architecture, digital transformation, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to gather requirements, document findings, validate information, and guide discussions with stakeholders.
  • Experience creating business cases, decision matrices, option analyses, and value-based recommendations.
  • Ability to assess processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend practical future-state solutions.
  • Working knowledge of foundational architecture concepts such as APIs, integrations, data flows, system dependencies, SaaS platforms, and workflow tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, leading interviews, and aligning diverse groups around priorities and decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across business, technology, operations, analytics, and compliance teams.
  • Experience evaluating automation and AI use cases based on value, feasibility, risk, and readiness.
  • Comfort supporting implementation planning, requirements refinement, and readiness activities as needed.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with automation platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, PEGA, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with OCR, ICR, document intelligence, case management, workflow automation, and unstructured data processing.

  • Experience participating in proof-of-concept or proof-of-value efforts for emerging technologies.
