The Opportunity The Label Manager serves as the primary point of contact for an assigned roster of labels, overseeing the development and execution of collaborative label and distribution strategies for both new releases and catalog projects. This role involves proactive communication with key label personnel and internal cross-functional teams to drive sales, visibility, and digital campaigns.

This is a remote position, based in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main liaison between Redeye and assigned label partners. Foster and maintain proactive, consistent communication with key label personnel regarding label business priorities and release campaign strategies.

Act as advocate for labels internally, ensuring that internal teams are aware of the roster and business needs of the label. Campaign Development & Execution: Identify key priorities and opportunities for new releases and catalog campaigns, focusing on maximizing sales and visibility. Collaborate with Account Representatives and Digital Account Managers to secure promotional opportunities and contribute to co-op plans at physical and digital accounts.

Create and execute detailed sales plans for new releases, catalog, and touring. Ensure that labels have a thorough understanding of retail best practices and have the tools and knowledge they need to deliver relevant content to drive sales and engagement. Coordination & Planning: Review upcoming release schedules and ensure advance planning is in place for all available territories.

Manage assigned label's physical and digital product logistics and operations, ensuring content is delivered in a timely manner and to required specifications using Redeye's proprietary platforms. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all project deadlines are met and campaigns are executed efficiently. Sales & Strategy: Create, maintain, and update sales plan activities within Redeye's proprietary CPanel platform.

Collaborate with Redeye's Sales and International teams to propose sales driver activities tailored to the label's goals and budget. Provide strategic sales guidance, including sales projections, total stock needs, and updates on marketplace trends and best practices. Conduct regular Business Reviews with labels in conjunction with Business Development Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure labels have solid understanding of business performance and changes in Redeye recommendations and practices.

Client Relations & Reporting: Serve as a resource for label clients, advising them on Redeye procedures, services, and tools. Direct label clients to appropriate Redeye team members for non-Label Management related queries. Report to Sales Leadership and Account Representatives on priority releases, label goals, and overall health.

Industry Presence & Networking: Represent Redeye at industry and label events, conferences, and shows promoting the company's services and building relationships with external partners. Additional Responsibilities Market Analysis & Adjustments: Monitor sales and streaming activities for assigned projects and adjust strategy as necessary to optimize performance. Stay informed on market trends across all partners and inform labels about Redeye's in-house label services.

Integrate international sales into the overall release plan, factoring in promotional campaigns and stock needs for each territory. Education, Experience, and Minimum Requirements Must have at least two years experience within a distribution, label, management or music company working directly with labels, managers and artists. Must have an understanding of digital distribution, including digital marketing, operations and metadata requirements.

Experience using sales and marketing platforms, including Redeye's proprietary tools, is a plus. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners. Confidence with data and evolving technology, and explaining their role in driving music consumption to internal and external partners.

Strong understanding of the music industry, including physical retail, streaming, and promotional practices. Experience with top digital music services, social media applications, and digital music best practices. Proven experience in label management, music marketing, or a similar field, with an emphasis on digital and physical sales.

Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a focus on delivering results. Must be able to focus on many different projects in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Proven ability to work with all levels of staff within the organization and to demonstrate commitment to principles of equity and inclusion and support for diversity. Exceptional ability to work well with vendors, customers, and others. Demonstration of respect and courtesy in all interactions.

A base annual salary commensurate with relevant skills, experience, relationships and education is anticipated in the range of $55K - $75K.
