Location: 100% Remote

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support critical enterprise data initiatives within a fast-paced, Agile delivery environment.

This role will lead delivery efforts across multiple data-focused workstreams, partnering with product owners, engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders to drive predictable, high-qualityboutcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong Scrum leadership skills with experience supporting data engineering and

enterprise data platform initiatives.

This individual will help teams navigate complex dependencies, remove delivery impediments, and promote Agile bestpractices while ensuring strategic objectives remain on track.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-visibility data modernization programs within acollaborative Enterprise PMO environment.

Key Responsibilities

AgileDelivery Leadership

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Champion Agile principles, Scrum best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coach Product Owners and team members to enhance Agile maturity and delivery effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and transparency.
  • Monitor team capacity, sprint health, velocity, and delivery performance

Data Platform Delivery Support

  • Coordinate delivery efforts supporting enterprise data and analytics initiatives, including:
    • Operational Data Stores (ODS)
    • Operational Databases (ODB)
    • Enterprise Data Platforms (EDP)
    • Databricks data pipelines
    • Data integration and modeling projects
    • Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Help teams navigate changing priorities and technical dependencies.

Backlog & Planning Management

  • Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain well-defined and prioritized backlogs.
  • Ensure user stories, features, and epics have appropriate business context, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support sprint planning, forecasting, release planning, and roadmap execution.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate cross-team dependencies.

Risk & Stakeholder Management

  • Proactively identify and remove delivery blockers.
  • Escalate organizational impediments when necessary.
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Participate in enterprise Agile coordination activities, including Scrum of Scrums and planning forums.

Governance & Reporting

  • Utilize Azure DevOps to manage and track delivery progress.
  • Monitor delivery metrics including velocity, backlog health, predictability, and dependency tracking.
  • Support release readiness activities and delivery reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or SAFe certification.
  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting Agile software development or data delivery teams.
  • Experience supporting:
    • Data Engineering
    • Data Warehousing
    • Operational Data Stores (ODS)
    • Operational Databases (ODB)
    • Enterprise Data Platforms
  • Strong understanding of Agile metrics, reporting, and delivery governance.
  • Experience utilizing Azure DevOps for backlog and delivery management.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and coordinating complex delivery efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within large-scale Agile or Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and modern cloud-based data platforms.
  • Understanding of data architecture, integration patterns, and data engineering workflows.
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation or data modernization initiatives.
  • Experience working within highly regulated industries such as financial services.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
