Job description

Job Title: React Architect/Developer (Data Platform Integration)

Location: San Francisco, CA (or Remote)

Job Overview

We are looking for a React Developer with strong data platform integration experience to build interactive dashboards and applications powered by modern data ecosystems. This role sits at the intersection of frontend development and data engineering, enabling business users to derive insights from complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain React-based dashboards and web applications
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend systems using APIs, OAuth, and SDKs (e.g., Foundry OSDK)
  • Collaborate with data engineers to connect applications with data pipelines and analytics platforms
  • Work with data platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Azure Databricks, and Snowflake
  • Build and optimize interactive data visualizations for business stakeholders
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and responsiveness of applications
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience integrating frontend apps with backend/data platforms
  • Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS is a plus)
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts:
    • Data pipelines
    • Data cleansing & transformation
    • Medallion architecture
  • Experience working with APIs, OAuth authentication, and SDK integrations
  • Understanding of data visualization and analytics dashboards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Palantir Foundry
  • Exposure to Azure Databricks and Snowflake
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts (e.g., forecasting models like ARIMA)
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 or Bedrock
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams (data + frontend)

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of UI/UX best practices and modern design systems
  • Ability to work in environments with limited documentation and evolving requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and reverse engineering skills

Team & Environment

  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and product teams
  • Fast-paced environment with opportunities to work on complex data-driven applications

Ideal Candidate

  • A hybrid frontend + data-focused engineer
  • Comfortable working with data-heavy applications rather than purely UI-driven apps
  • Able to bridge the gap between data platforms and user-facing interfaces
