These roles are often found in industries such as healthcare, finance, retail, and logistics, requiring accuracy and attention to detail. Remote data entry jobs are popular for their flexibility and can often be done part-time or full-time from home.

Loan Officer - Digital DSCR & Business-Purpose Loans

AHL - Saaf AI

San Francisco, CA • Remote

Full-time

Re-posted 25 days ago

Job description

About AHL

AHL combines 15+ years of mortgage origination expertise with the power of AI innovation to redefine what's possible in mortgage lending. We are building the future of mortgage origination where technology and human expertise amplify each other. Our AI platform automates the grind — letting our Loan Officers focus on what matters most: relationships, strategy, and growth.

Join us as we shape a faster, smarter, and more transparent mortgage ecosystem.

Position Overview

As a Loan Officer on our retail team, you'll be the trusted guide for real-estate investors and entrepreneurs seeking DSCR and other business-purpose mortgages. This isn't a typical loan-officer role; you will leverage AHL's AI platform and digital DSCR workflow to identify qualified borrowers and deliver clear approvals in days, not weeks. Your focus will be on direct borrower relationships, combining your expertise and experience to deliver value to borrowers.

What You'll Do
  • Build and grow a retail investor pipeline. Prospect and nurture relationships with real-estate investors and small-business owners, and maintain a network of referral partners such as realtors and accountants.

  • Use predictive analytics and AI tools to qualify borrowers. Our platform helps you identify high-potential prospects and pre-populate applications, so you can focus on advising rather than data entry.

  • Explain loan options and terms clearly. Guide borrowers through DSCR, bridge and other non-QM products, explaining how qualifying based on property earnings can be advantageous.

  • Deliver outstanding client service. Build rapport, respond to questions promptly, provide regular updates and maintain an active pipeline that meets or exceeds production goals.

  • Provide feedback to our product team. Participate in feedback loops to refine our AI underwriting and digital workflow.

You'll Excel Here If You…
  • Thrive on relationships and results, and are excited to use technology to scale both.

  • Understand DSCR and business-purpose lending but want tools that eliminate friction from the process.

  • Are energized by data-driven selling and appreciate the power of AI to personalize outreach and identify the right opportunities.

  • Think like an investor: ROI, time-to-close and flexibility matter. You advise clients as if each deal were your own.

  • Embrace innovation and adapt quickly — you're curious and eager to be part of the mortgage industry's AI transformation.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience originating residential or commercial mortgages; DSCR or non-QM experience is strongly preferred.

  • Active NMLS license and a track record of complying with federal and state lending regulations.

  • Deep knowledge of DSCR, bridge, fix-and-flip and other investor-focused products.

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using AI tools, CRMs and digital communication platforms.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust with sophisticated investors as well as first-time landlords.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical ability; able to interpret DSCR ratios, cap rates and other real-estate metrics.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, real estate or a related field, or equivalent experience would be preferred.

Why AHL
  • AI as your growth partner. Streamline lead qualification, pricing and communication using our proprietary AI platform.

  • Speed is your advantage. Our AI underwriting reduces turnaround times by up to 80% and our digital DSCR program aims for five-day closings.

  • Human + machine synergy. We amplify, not replace — your expertise remains at the center of each loan.

  • Remote flexibility. Work from anywhere and access a unified digital dashboard with real-time insights.

  • Frontier industry growth. Be part of the first wave of AI-native mortgage lending.

  • Investor-minded culture. We think like investors because we serve investors.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid/remote role that leverages digital platforms to enhance daily performance. You'll collaborate virtually with a multidisciplinary team, engage borrowers across the country.
