What are remote jobs for data entry work?

Remote data entry work involves entering information in a database or other information system. You typically work from home and type on your computer. The duties and responsibilities of a virtual data entry worker can vary slightly depending on the details of the job. Some employers need you to do transcription work, while others ask you to enter information on a worksheet or other document, such as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
