Senior Application Developer — .NET / Cloud / Power Platform (Ref: 5778)
Location: Remote on Pacific Time Zone M-F from 8am -5pm PST
Rate: DOE

Position Summary:
Estrada Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, integrate, test, and implement a modern cloud-based enterprise application replacing a legacy state-government system.
The Senior Developer will work closely with the Application Architect and business/technical teams to translate complex business requirements into reliable application functionality. The position requires strong hands-on development skills across C#/.NET, cloud technologies, APIs/integrations, databases, workflow development, and Microsoft Power Platform/low-code technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom enterprise web application functionality.
  • Develop application services and components using C#/.NET/.NET Core and modern web technologies.
  • Develop and configure cloud-based application components, preferably using AWS.
  • Develop Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, or other Power Platform components where appropriate.
  • Build configurable workflows supporting assignment, routing, review, approval, notifications, deadlines, and status tracking.
  • Develop functionality supporting complex forms, structured data entry, rich-text editing, document management, and version control.
  • Develop automated ingestion and processing of data from external systems and services.
  • Build and consume secure REST APIs/web services.
  • Implement XML and other structured-data integrations.
  • Develop document-generation/export functionality supporting XML, Word and PDF.
  • Build dashboards, queues, search, filtering, reporting, and workload-management functionality.
  • Implement role-based permissions and security controls.
  • Develop audit-trail and activity-history capabilities.
  • Design and implement database objects, queries, stored procedures, data-access components, and application data models.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability for high-concurrency use.
  • Implement autosave, exception handling, validation, logging, monitoring, and resilient application-processing capabilities.
  • Develop accessible user interfaces meeting WCAG 2.2 AA requirements.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging and defect remediation.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and enforce established development standards.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, configuration management, and release activities.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, sprint planning, demonstrations, testing, implementation, and production support.
  • Assist with proof-of-concept development and technical demonstrations.
  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in knowledge transfer.

  • 10+ years of professional application/software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on C#/.NET/.NET Core and ASP.NET development experience.
