* This opportunity is remote/virtual or hybrid, therefore open to all candidates nationally *

Are you ready to embark on an electrifying journey that will revolutionize the global food system?

Seize this opportunity to join the trailblazing team at TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods (TAC) - a powerhouse committed to disrupting the status quo with state-of-the-art applications that leverage data to reimagine the way we approach food!

We are not just a team; we are an inspired collective on a relentless mission to establish the most trusted food system worldwide, unraveling transformative insights and optimizing processes from the fields to your plate. At TAC, we are more than just individuals; United in passion and purpose, we collaboratively breathe life into these extraordinary opportunities.

Our Team and What We'll Accomplish Together

TELUS Consumer Goods (CG) North America helps CPG manufacturers, brands, and distributors win at the shelf and in the field with data-driven SaaS solutions spanning Retail Execution, Trade Promotion Management, Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Analytics, Sales Enablement, and Shopper Insights. We're looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Sales Operations Manager to join our growing North America sales team. You'll partner with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes, drive revenue growth, and improve efficiency across our CPG-focused sales motion - supporting everything from funnel hygiene and territory management to CRM administration and sales enablement content.

What You'll Do

Sales Analytics & Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track performance across TELUS CG's North America sales team and key CPG accounts (e.g., MTD/QTD forecast dashboards, product-line funnel reporting).
  • Conduct sales performance analysis, identify trends across categories/accounts, and provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
  • Build forecasts and models for sales targets and quotas tied to TELUS CG's product lines (Retail Execution, TPM, RGM Analytics, Sales Enablement, Shopper Insights).
  • Pull and maintain ad hoc reporting for cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., open opportunities by product/stage, engineering resourcing forecasts tied to go-live dates).
  • Support export and distribution of Salesforce reporting via Google Sheets/other tools as needed for stakeholders without Excel access.

Sales Process Optimization & Funnel Hygiene:

  • Partner with sales leadership to design and refine the sales process for TELUS CG's enterprise CPG sales cycle (often longer, multi-stakeholder deals with manufacturers, brands, and retailers).
  • Implement best practices in lead management, opportunity tracking, and pipeline optimization specific to CPG/retail buying cycles.
  • Own funnel hygiene practices, including ensuring closed-won opportunities are reassigned to the correct QBP (Quota-Bearing Personnel) owner prior to close, and monitoring this as an ongoing control.
  • Manage and update sales territory assignments to maintain balance across QBPs, including incorporating new customer/prospect lists and data from Finance.
  • Define and maintain processes for account and prospect ownership in cases of cross-segment overlap (e.g., accounts applicable to multiple business lines).
  • Manage account reassignment when reps or territory owners leave the organization, including pulling impacted account lists and coordinating reassignment.
  • Identify process improvements to increase conversion rates and reduce sales cycle times across the North America region.

CRM Management & Data Integrity:

  • Represent Sales in the oversight and management of Salesforce for the TELUS CG North America sales org, including administration of renewal and auto-renewal processes.
  • Ensure consistent, accurate CRM data entry and adoption across the sales team, including audit and completion of churn records and related reporting.
  • Manage CRM integrations with TELUS CG platforms and other tools (marketing automation, customer success, product usage data).
  • Support opportunity creation workflows (e.g., automated opportunity-owner and opportunity-team assignment tools) and manage opportunity team permissions, including enabling BDR access to add team members.
  • Maintain and audit account trading name/ownership rules to correctly route out-of-scope or misclassified accounts (e.g., non-CG, agriculture) to appropriate placeholders or owners.
  • Partner with the CRM team on system enhancement requests and track resolution of open CRM tickets.
  • Maintain a central contract repository and support contract-related data needs.

Sales Enablement:

  • Provide tools, training, and resources to help the sales team effectively sell TELUS CG's solution suite to CPG buyers (category managers, sales VPs, trade marketing leads).
  • Own and improve the structure and differentiation between Google Drive and HighSpot (or other content platforms) to ensure sales content is organized, current, and easy to locate.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging around TELUS CG's value proposition for the North America CPG market.
  • Coordinate creation of sales materials - pitch decks, ROI case studies, proposals - tailored to CPG use cases.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Customer Success on initiatives supporting customer health tracking and CS coverage models, and support related reporting needs.
  • Partner with Marketing/Marketing Ops to define and execute BDR and business development campaign processes, including event campaign follow-up administration and alignment.
  • Support Marketing Ops on lead-to-MQL scoring and reporting processes, including troubleshooting scoring/conversion discrepancies (e.g., engagement activity not triggering expected MQL status).
  • Prepare visibility dashboards to support transitions in lead routing (e.g., moving from individual assignment to queue-based lead assignment).
  • Partner with Engineering on funnel-by-product reporting to support resourcing planning tied to product go-live dates.
  • Relay sales team and customer feedback to product and marketing to inform TELUS CG's roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus.
    • 3+ years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, or sales management - SaaS, CPG/retail tech, or B2B enterprise software experience strongly preferred.
    • Strong, hands-on proficiency with Salesforce administration (reporting, opportunity/account management, workflow tools) and sales analytics tools.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for a CPG sales audience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to sales and executive stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, tickets, and deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying and solving problems - comfortable owning ambiguous, cross-functional processes end to end.

    Great-to-Haves

    • Experience with sales forecasting, quota setting, territory management, and compensation management in a regional/multi-account sales structure.
    • Familiarity with sales engagement/automation tools (Outreach, SalesLoft, Marketo, HubSpot, etc.) and content management platforms (HighSpot or similar).
    • Understanding of SaaS metrics (CAC, LTV, churn) and CPG/retail industry dynamics (trade spend, category management, retail execution).
    • Experience managing Salesforce data hygiene, renewal/auto-renewal workflows, and opportunity/account ownership processes.
    • Prior experience in CPG, retail technology, or trade promotion management sectors is a strong plus.

At TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where all individuals can thrive. We value the unique perspectives and experiences that each person brings to our team and invite you to join us on our journey of growth and learning. Together, we aim to create a respectful and welcoming global community.
