Salary: $90,000 - $120,000

Job Summary

We are seeking a SENIOR BI ANALYST, FINANCE t to partner with Finance, Operations and client teams. The ideal candidate combines Power BI development with Power Apps and Power Automate experience to replace manual processes with solutions that improve decision-making.

This consultative role extends beyond dashboards. The analyst will challenge processes, translate business needs into technical solutions, communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders, and increase adoption through documentation and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance, Operations, account teams and leaders to identify reporting needs and pain points, then translate them into specifications, data models, application designs and implementation plans.
  • Automate manual reporting, data-entry and workflows using Power BI and Power Platform solutions.
  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, semantic models and paginated reports using Power Query, DAX, dimensional modeling, performance optimization and security best practices.
  • Build canvas and/or model-driven Power Apps and Power Automate cloud flows for data collection, approvals and workflows across SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft 365 and other systems.
  • Develop analytics for P&L, procurement, accounts receivable, working capital, productivity and service delivery; use SQL to integrate, reconcile and validate multi-system data.
  • Perform root-cause, trend and variance analysis and convert findings into recommendations for Finance, Operations and senior leadership.
  • Own the solution lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, training, adoption and enhancement. Establish controls and lead UAT to confirm accuracy, workflows and security.
  • Lead demonstrations and office hours, monitor adoption, build stakeholder relationships, and quantify value through savings, faster cycles, reduced risk or improved accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in business intelligence, business analytics, financial analytics or a related field, including Finance and/or Operations support.
  • Advanced Power BI expertise in Power Query, DAX, semantic/dimensional modeling, visualization, performance optimization, security and Power BI Service.
  • Production experience personally deploying Power Apps-not solely training or coursework-and Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, data collection, reporting or process automation.
  • Proven ability to improve financial or operational outcomes through analytics or automation and explain the problem, solution, stakeholders and measurable result.
  • Experience analyzing revenue, margin, productivity, procurement, vendor performance, accounts receivable or working capital, plus strong SQL skills for data discovery, transformation and validation.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into scalable solutions and present findings to senior and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong client-service, organizational and project-management skills, including testing, documentation, training and adoption across multiple priorities.
  • Experience with embedded analytics, paginated reports, row-level security, deployment pipelines or source-controlled Power BI development.

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure, Snowflake or enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience using MCP-embedded AI tools (e.g., Kiro) to automate report delivery or analysis.
  • Experience in facilities management, hospitality, outsourced services or multi-site operations; familiarity with ServiceNow, Nuvolo, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 or similar CMMS/ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and Azure DevOps.
