  • Helps patients by providing service cost information and assistance.
  • Processes inbound calls.
  • Audits charts and insurances.
  • Collects outstanding balances and pre-appointment payments.
  • Triages customer needs.
  • Maintains patient charts with appropriate data entry, insurance information and referrals or prior authorizations.
  • Answers incoming phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Follows PHI security and HIPAA compliance in accordance with federal laws.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Develops knowledge of customer needs and trends to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
