Job description

Member Administration Specialist (Remote)

Location: Remote (Approved States Only: Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee (Eastern Time Zone only), and Virginia)

Expected Duration: September 2026 – March 2027, potential for full-time conversion with good performance!

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Rotating schedules as assigned
  • Shifts may occur between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST
  • Occasional weekend work may be required

Training Schedule:

  • Six weeks of paid training
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM EST
  • No time off permitted during training

Pay Rate: $25.19/Hour


About the Role

We are seeking Member Administration Specialists to support a healthcare and insurance organization during a high-volume enrollment period. This role is responsible for member enrollment processing, eligibility maintenance, account research, and member support while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process member enrollments and eligibility updates
  • Maintain and update member records
  • Research and resolve account issues
  • Assist members with benefit and coverage-related inquiries
  • Support ID card requests and account maintenance activities
  • Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member concerns
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and internal systems
  • Adhere to HIPAA, confidentiality, quality, and compliance standards


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service, administrative support, call center, insurance support, healthcare support, or related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong data entry and problem-solving skills.


Attendance Expectations

Attendance is critical for success in this role. Employees are expected to maintain reliable attendance throughout the assignment.


Mandatory workdays include:

  • Day After Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • New Year's Eve
  • New Year's Day
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
