The Payroll Clerk (Remote) plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing within our organization. This position involves collaboration with the HR team and direct reporting to the Payroll Manager. The Payroll Clerk handles various payroll-related tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance standards. Responsibilities
- Process and verify payroll data accurately and on time
- Perform data entry and maintain employee time tracking records
- Ensure compliance with payroll policies and regulations
- Maintain detailed and confidential payroll records
- Generate payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies
- Communicate with employees and resolve payroll-related issues
- Collaborate closely with the HR team and report to Payroll Manager
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in payroll processing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with payroll software such as ADP or Paychex
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with data entry and timekeeping systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
