Remote data entry coding jobs typically pay hourly or per project, and earning $1000 weekly requires consistent high-volume work, efficient data management skills, and possibly working multiple platforms or clients. What is remote data entry coding?

Remote data entry coding involves entering, updating, and managing data in digital systems from a location outside a traditional office environment. This job typically requires accurately inputting information, such as codes, numbers, or text, into databases or software platforms. Employees often work from home and may handle sensitive data, making attention to detail and confidentiality important. Common industries hiring for these roles include healthcare, finance, and e-commerce. Remote data entry coding jobs usually require basic computer skills, familiarity with relevant software, and reliable internet access.

What are the most common challenges faced in a remote data entry coding role and how can they be managed?

One of the main challenges in a remote data entry coding position is maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail while working independently. Distractions at home and repetitive tasks can sometimes lead to errors or decreased productivity. Setting up a dedicated, quiet workspace and following a structured daily routine can help minimize mistakes. Additionally, staying connected with team members via regular check-ins and using collaboration tools ensures data consistency and timely communication of any issues.

Familiarity with data entry software, spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets), and sometimes basic coding or database management systems is typically required. Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and effective time management are crucial soft skills for remote work success. These competencies ensure error-free data processing, maintain data integrity, and support efficient workflow in a remote environment.

Job description

About First Fertility

At First Fertility, we are driven by our vision, mission, and values to exceed expectations throughout every patientโ€™s experience. We partner with the best fertility clinics across the country โ€” clinics that share our standards of care, prioritize patient outcomes, and are committed to finding the right path to parenthood for every individual and family we serve.

The Role

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) oversees all aspects of the revenue cycle process, including claims management, authorization workflows, and document management. The role is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team that prioritizes a customer-centric approach to revenue cycle operations, ensuring both strategic and financial success. The Director models First Fertilityโ€™s core values: Patient-First Care, Make a Difference, Embrace Everyone, Lead With Integrity, and a Culture of Curiosity โ€” while fostering strong relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize revenue cycle operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a collaborative team culture.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing revenue cycle team, establishing systems for performance management, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Revenue Cycle Operations & Optimization

  • Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle functions including billing, coding, claims processing, collections, and payer relations.
  • Track key performance metrics, implement data-driven process improvements, and manage payer relationships to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.

Claims & Compliance

  • Oversee held claims resolution, denial follow-ups, and authorization workflows in coordination with Clinical, Scheduling, and Medical Records teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, state-specific regulations, and HIPAA requirements; conduct revenue cycle investigations to resolve operational barriers and manage aged accounts.
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
  • Minimum 10 years of revenue cycle experience (fertility healthcare billing preferred), with at least 3 years in a director-level role overseeing a large remote, in-house, and offshore team.
  • Strong knowledge of billing and EMR systems, operating dashboards, medical terminology, payer regulations, and financial analysis within the fertility industry.
  • Proven people leader with experience developing billing teams and building inclusive, high-performing cultures.
Schedule

This is a fully remote, full-time position. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AMโ€“4:00 PM EST.

Join Us

At First Fertility, youโ€™ll be part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families. We offer a competitive salary of $130,000โ€“$160,000 annually plus bonus eligibility, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative team environment where your leadership will shape the future of our revenue cycle operations.
