Baer is looking for Data Scientist Palantir Data Engineer for a 6+ month Federal remote project.
Title: Data Scientist Palantir Data Engineer

Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-inclusive

Overview:
Join a multi-year DoD SAP S/4HANA modernization program supporting the enterprise transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. We are seeking experienced functional and technical consultants with Active Secret Clearance to help drive data conversion governance, cross-functional business process integration, Federal audit and compliance requirements, and cutover readiness.
Description:
  • Design, build, and maintain data engineering and analytics solutions using Palantir Foundry.
  • Develop data profiling, quality, and validation processes to support SAP data migration.
  • Build data pipelines, transformation logic, and reconciliation controls for migration activities.
  • Identify data anomalies, duplicates, and quality issues, and support data cleansing efforts.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and migration metrics to track data quality and project progress.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional teams, data migration teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Support data validation, testing, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
  • Document data models, workflows, and technical solutions while following federal data governance standards.

Requirement:
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry for data engineering and analytics.
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, and large-scale data profiling solutions.
  • Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
  • Experience supporting SAP or ERP data migration, data quality, or master data initiatives.
  • Knowledge of data reconciliation, validation, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in federal or defense environments is preferred.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.
