JLL is seeking aData Analytics Team Technical Director to join our Real Estate Due Diligence (JREDD) Asset Services team! This is a remote position with up to 25% domestic travel.

This role leads team management and database support for the entire JREDD Asset Services platform. In full collaboration with the Technical Services and Sustainable Operations Center of Excellence (TSSO COE), the Data Analytics Team Lead implements and maintains a metric-based dashboard and reporting system to communicate and visualize progress on strategic initiatives across all accounts.


The purpose of this role is to oversee development and implementations of robust processes and programs to manage and facilitate data management that supports reliability of assets, components, equipment, and processes in accordance with JLL's enhanced asset management program. Manages the team's efforts in the overall development, implementation, and configuration of all Asset Services databases. Provides subject matter expertise for all database and application related issues or errors, develops and distributes training materials, and provides coaching and education on database functions and best practices for performing tasks. Manages the QA/QC process on data collected to ensure consistency and adherence to JREDD policies. Provides regular feedback to front line staff and supervision to improve the quality of data collected.


Essential Functions:

Recognizes that assignments are broad in nature and require appreciable originality and ingenuity to complete them and considerable latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions.

The Data Analytics Team Lead will be responsible for the oversight of the Data Analytics team and the development of various databases to support program implementations, value demonstration and continuous improvement projects. This individual will provide thought leadership, align with clients on strategic asset management direction, demonstrating value through our programmatic implementation focused on maximizing asset value, develop a strong use case library, and support new business pursuits.

  • Responsible for overseeing operations activities related to JREDD platform data management
  • Drives implementation and continuous improvement to ensure best in class deployment and on-account performance related to the delivery of our Asset Services solutions

Database Management

  • Works under general direction of the JREDD Management platform to create and deploy visual reporting mechanisms to communicate progress on strategic reliability initiatives by all stakeholders on accounts and with external partners
  • Identifies and creates standardized metrics for leadership to gauge the health of reliability and asset management efforts
  • Provides system training and develops training documentation for end users of the various JREDD Asset Services systems
  • Troubleshoots issues reported by end users and assists to resolve any difficulties encountered
  • Creates guides, SOPs, and manuals, as required
  • Assists platform engineers, account personnel, and external clients with daily workflow enhancements and changes
  • Reviews metrics for process consistency and develops solutions and provides recommendations to leadership for process improvements

Asset and Facility Data Collection

  • Assists with the methods to gather asset data and perform asset validation
  • Assists the Facility Condition Assessment team with connecting asset data in CMMS platforms with associated data in FCA systems
  • Assists the Regulatory Compliance Assessment team with the development of custom client-facing project tracking dashboards
  • Brainstorms and implements improvements to the process, including engineering controls to enhance data quality
  • Actively embraces AI solutions to scale throughput and project deliverables while ensuring data accuracy, actionable outputs, and accountability
  • Performs regular quality checks on data in the system and provides real time feedback to front line employees to improve the quality and consistency of the data collected
  • Works with leadership to streamline the entire process, from data collection to upload into the clients' Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Facility Condition Assessment platform, Regulatory Compliance Assessment platform, and other systems as required

Business Management

  • Consults with potential clients to identify and shape Asset Services opportunities
  • Scopes opportunities, including data requirements, deliverables, and timelines
  • Negotiates and drafts proposals for new and expanded client engagements
  • Manages opportunity revenue and tracks progress against forecasted targets
  • Ensures profitability of the team through pricing and project management
