Analytica is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer to support a high-profile program for a financial regulatory agency. This program entails developing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable data pipelines and platform services within the AWS and Databricks ecosystem. This role works alongside senior engineers and architects to improve data accessibility, platform reliability, and self-service analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support ingestion, transformation, and publication of enterprise datasets using standardized and governed data engineering processes.
  • Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting and analytics solutions using Databricks SQL Warehouses.
  • Assist with implementation and administration of Unity Catalog, data lineage, metadata, and data governance controls.
  • Support cloud operations activities including infrastructure automation, logging, monitoring, and platform observability.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Databricks Asset Bundles.
  • Participate in platform incident response, troubleshooting, and operational support activities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in data engineering, cloud engineering, or platform operations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics environments, or cloud-based data solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering concepts.
  • Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, or similar big data technologies.
