This full-time position operates within a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative team effort through digital communication tools. Our work hours are typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to engage deeply with trauma patients through virtual consultations and meetings.

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to understand patients' mental and emotional challenges while determining appropriate diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coping strategies tailored specifically to each patient's unique situation and needs.
• Engage in regular one-on-one sessions with patients to discuss their progress, challenges, and necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Educate both staff and patients about effective coping mechanisms for stress and trauma, thus enhancing overall awareness and recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress methodically, using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, social service agencies, and community organizations to ensure a continuum of care and holistic support for patients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain certification as a National Certified Counselor and stay abreast of the latest evidence-based practices in mental health treatment.

This role centers around working with trauma injury patients, aiding them in their journey toward healing and resilience. As you encounter diverse individuals facing various challenges stemming from trauma, you will provide compassionate care and a safe space for them to express their thoughts and feelings.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating effectiveness with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential for documentation and communication purposes.
• Exceptional communication skills are crucial to fostering trusting relationships with patients and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and experience in utilizing EMR software is highly preferred, as this enhances workflow efficiency and data management.
• Experience in group therapy settings or family therapy approaches will be an asset, enriching the support we offer to our patients.
