Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Business Analytics to Apply statistical techniques, analyze user needs, and develop data analytics solutions to summarize data and provide usable business information. Duties include: apply principles and techniques of mathematical and statistical analysis to analyze and interpret data and support large analytics projects; perform monthly data pulls and review performance metrics to identify and mitigate financial risk to the organization; collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, finance, and accounting teams to understand gaps and improve processes that impact client financial performance; act as an analytics product owner and translate business needs into data analytics projects and actions; consult with internal clients to identify opportunities for data analytics solutions to solve business problems and support projects through business case development, data exploration, model building, experiment design, and performance evaluation; design experiments to test hypothesis and quantify impacts of improvement initiatives; summarize and report results of statistical analyses and create presentations to inform business partners and leadership teams on optimization opportunities; design and implement robust analytic and reporting solutions using SAS, SQL, Access, and Excel; structure data analysis, identify trends and factors impacting results, understand key drivers of business value, and translate into analytical problems; develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports, mathematical analysis methods, and performance metrics; create data analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs using an advanced understanding of business strategy as well as relevant big data environment topics; perform lookback analysis to review underwriting assumptions, contract language, and actual results, and provide datadriven recommendations to senior leadership; leverage expertise in mathematical methods, statistical analyses, predictive and descriptive modeling, sampling techniques, and data collection methods, and evaluate sources of information to determine limitations, reliability, and usability; develop reporting packages and presentations for management to recommend software applications for statistical modeling and graphic analysis and analytics best practices; and provide advanced statistical analytics support to drive data-driven decision making and organizational goals. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions. Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Data analytics on large data sets in healthcare, business, or retail sector; SAS or SQL; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; Visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau; Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); Statistical analysis; Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes; Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases; Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives; Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Access; and MS Excel, including writing advanced Excel formulas and using conditional, vlookups/hlookups, sorting and filtering, array formulas, and VBA macros, pivot reporting, and conditional formatting.Position also required six (6) months of experience in each of the following: Data warehousing; Domain support for healthcare or retail organization. Pay Range: $72384.00/year to $145860.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
