Position Overview

Mythic Harmony Behavioral and Counseling Center seeks a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote role. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your clinical skills to promote mental well-being within our Detox Center facility. You will be responsible for delivering a range of behavioral health services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of effective treatment plans that align with our commitment to quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, age-appropriate bio-psychosocial assessments for clients, meticulously documenting findings in accordance with electronic health record standards.
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focusing on mental health, substance abuse, and family dynamics, utilizing evidence-based methodologies tailored to the unique needs of clients.
  • Perform suicide risk assessments, ensuring timely interventions and escalating concerns to medical providers when necessary to safeguard client welfare.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and healthcare team members, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Provide support and referrals to community resources, including medication assistance programs and social support services, to enhance client recovery and well-being.
  • Partner with Quality Improvement teams to enhance data collection processes related to treatment outcomes, participating in ongoing evaluation and improvement initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Clinical Social Worker at Mythic Harmony, you will primarily serve a diverse population of clients who are navigating challenges related to substance abuse and mental health issues. Our clients span various age groups and cultural backgrounds, necessitating a culturally competent approach to care that respects individual values and preferences. You will have the privilege of helping clients develop coping strategies, improve their mental wellness, and foster healthy relationships.

Qualifications
  • Active and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of California.
  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating depth of practice in behavioral health settings.
  • Proficiency in counseling techniques, crisis intervention, and the ability to exercise independent judgment in clinical decision-making.
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with group facilitation techniques and experience planning and leading therapeutic group sessions.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
