Summary

Job Description:

Baptist Health looking for an Application Analyst - Intermediate to join our team! This is a remote work position that requires residency in KY or IN.

Under general direction, responsible for application and integration of information technology in thehealthcare setting. This position will serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to alignsystem design with operational processes. This includes data collection, workflow analysis, systemconfiguration, testing, and support. Participates in application deployment and procedure documentation.Ensures that the software build meets organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA andMeaningful Use. Has technical knowledge of most phases of applications system analysis and projectmanagement. Under supervision may act as project coordinator for medium sized projects with mediumbudgets that may or may not have system-wide implications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with two years' experience or minimum four years direct experience in lieu of degree.

  • Experience with HIM or EPIC HIM certification/modules such as Hospital Coding, Deficiency Tracking, Release of Information, Identity

  • No travel required.
