Our client seeks a Product/Data Analyst to enable data-informed decisions and real-time health monitoring for WiFi products and services. The role will translate complex product questions into actionable analytics, dashboards, and metrics while partnering with product, engineering, and data teams. The analyst will drive clarity in ambiguous domains, surface hidden needs, and guide stakeholders toward proactive, insight-led product strategies.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $50.00 to $60.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary analytics partner for product teams to support data-driven product decisions.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand business goals, product needs, and challenges.
  • Translate product and business questions into analytics requirements, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
  • Identify data gaps and uncover hidden or unstated business needs.
  • Design and deliver analytics solutions, dashboards, and insights to monitor product performance.
  • Enable real-time visibility into product health and user behavior.
  • Partner with engineering, data, and product teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Guide stakeholders on which questions to ask to drive insight-led decision making.
Experience Requirements:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for analysis and product analytics.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS.
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement complex reports and analytics.
  • Ability to write code and participate in code reviews.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Supportive team orientation and willingness to help others.
  • Preferred: AWS or other cloud experience, Python.
  • Nice to have: AI experience, telecommunications background, Linux, shell scripting, Git, Hive or Hadoop.
