• Conduct regular virtual therapy sessions with clients using secure video conferencing technology, ensuring their comfort and privacy during each session.
• Thoroughly assess each client’s mental health needs through initial evaluations and ongoing assessments, actively listening and utilizing appropriate therapeutic techniques.
• Create personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, outlining specific therapeutic goals and interventions tailored to the individual’s needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based practices to foster personal growth, emotional resilience, and coping strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment objectives, in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about advancements in mental health treatment and practices.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children and adolescents to adults, each with unique backgrounds and mental health challenges. Our patients may be dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship difficulties, necessitating a tailored therapeutic approach that fosters trust, understanding, and empowerment. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these individuals towards recovery and improved mental health outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in mental health counseling, with a demonstrable track record of success in therapeutic settings.
• Proficient in conducting virtual therapy sessions utilizing video conferencing tools, exhibiting comfort and efficiency in a remote working environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
• Strong organizational skills to manage personal scheduling and maintain thorough documentation of client interactions.
• Proficiency in using technology to communicate with clients and manage sensitive client data securely and confidentially.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar environments where collaboration is key.
• Prior engagement in telehealth or virtual counseling settings is highly preferred.
