As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Southern Wellness, you will work in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while still playing a crucial role in our detox center operations. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and substance use, employing evidence-based assessment tools to inform treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each client, adjusting as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Lead engaging and effective therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing various therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, comprising doctors, psychologists, and other social workers.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
• Engage in regular professional development through training programs and supervision opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed of the latest advancements in the field.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals facing substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health disorders within a detox setting. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique clinical needs while fostering trust and rapport. Understanding the complexities of addiction is crucial in helping clients navigate their recovery journeys effectively.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Georgia.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, with a strong emphasis on addiction and recovery.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a strong understanding of treatment planning for mental health disorders.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients empathetically and effectively.

• Experience in a detox or residential treatment facility is highly desirable.
