Responsible for developing and executing integration and analytics strategies that align with business objectives, enabling seamless data flow and insights to support the organization's data-driven decision-making capabilities. This role manages the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of data integration solutions and analytics systems across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, ensuring reliable and secure data interactions. This role leads a technical team focused on delivering robust integration solutions, developing analytics and reporting platforms, and maintaining data quality and security. Collaborates with other technology teams and business leaders to advance the organization's data strategy and facilitate effective decision-making through optimized data management and insights.

Integration and Analytics Manager

Hiring Salary Range: $135,000-$175,000

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary outside of the posted hiring salary range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Tri-State is a wholesale power supply cooperative, operating on a not-for-profit basis, with electric distribution cooperatives and public power district members in four states: Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico and Wyoming. Together with its members, Tri-State delivers reliable, affordable and responsible power and energy services to nearly a million electricity consumers across roughly 200,000 square miles of the West.

Founded in 1952 by its member systems to provide a reliable, cost-based supply of electricity, Tri-State is now headquartered in Westminster, Colo., employing approximately 1,000 people across five states.

Tri-State's electricity is generated from coal, natural gas, hydropower, wind, and solar. This power reaches members via a transmission system that includes substation facilities, telecommunications sites and almost 6,000 miles of high voltage transmission lines.

Education and Training: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in data analytics, data engineering, or data management desired.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data integration and analytics, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex data systems in similar industries or regulated environments.
  • Proven experience leading data integration projects, implementing advanced analytics solutions, and managing cloud-based, on-premises, and hybrid data environments.
  • Expertise in data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Oracle Integration Connector), ETL processes (e.g., SQL, Alteryx, Python), analytics platforms (e.g., databricks, snowflake) and visualization platforms (e.g., MS Power BI, Oracle Analytics Warehouse).
  • Strong skills in API design and management, with experience using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI for development and documentation.
  • Experience ERP governance and data within Oracle ERP or similar.

  • Design, document, and manage APIs to support data exchange and system interactions.
  • Develop ETL processes and visualizations using available enterprise platforms in consideration of data requirements and customer needs.
  • Oversee the development of accessible and user-friendly analytics and reporting platforms, working with stakeholders to identify and report on key metrics and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and other technology teams to ensure integration solutions meet compliance and security standards.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and responsiveness within the team to meet and exceed service expectations.
  • Prepare status reports and keep management and other stakeholders informed of status and related issues.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of regulations, laws, standards, and best practices applicable to functional area.
  • Because Tri-State has an obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to its customers, the ability to work overtime at any time of the day or week is considered an essential function of the job.
