Job Summary

The Manager, Data Analytics & Decision Science will lead a team responsible for turning data into insights that improve decisions, drive action, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
This leader will help evolve the analytics function from primarily reporting on what happened to helping the business understand why it happened, what may happen next, and what actions should be taken.
The role requires a strong people leader and business partner who can operate across analytics, operations, technology, and strategy. The Manager will also play a key role in modernizing how the team works, including adoption of Databricks, automation, data science, and AI-enabled analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing analytics team.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify the most important questions, decisions, and opportunities analytics can support.
  • Deliver insights that improve patient, operational, customer, and financial outcomes.
  • Develop analytics that look across businesses and programs to identify trends, benchmarks, leading indicators, and opportunities that may not be visible within individual programs.
  • Communicate complex findings clearly to senior leaders and nontechnical audiences.
  • Partner with data engineering, technology, governance, and other teams to ensure analytics is built on trusted and scalable data.

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, data science, statistics, economics, business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, preferred
  • Strong ability to translate business problems into analytical questions and recommendations.
  • Experience leading and developing analysts or analytics teams.
  • Experience with Databricks or a similar modern cloud data and analytics platform.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and business intelligence or visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience applying AI or generative AI to analytics or business workflows.
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, patient services, specialty pharmacy, payer, or related industry experience.

    TRAINING AND WORK SCHEDULES:
    • Your new hire training will take place 8:00am - 5:00pm CST, mandatory attendance is required.

    • This position is full-time (40 hours/week). Employees are required to work Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm CST. Schedule may vary depending on business needs.

    • You will work remotely, full-time. It will require a dedicated, quiet, private, distraction free environment with access to high-speed internet. We will provide you with the computer, technology and equipment needed to successfully perform your job. You will be responsible for providing high-speed internet. Internet requirements include the following:
      Maintain a secure, high-speed, broadband internet connection (DSL, Cable, or Fiber) at the remote location. Dial-up, satellite, WIFI, Cellular connections are NOT acceptable.

    • Download speed of 15Mbps (megabyte per second)

    • Upload speed of 5Mbps (megabyte per second)

    • Ping Rate Maximum of 30ms (milliseconds)

    • Hardwired to the router

    • Surge protector with Network Line Protection for CAH issued equipment

    Anticipated salary range:$106,700 - $152,400
