About Location: Remote (Pacific Time Zone & UT) or Hybrid (El Segundo, CA / Draper, UT) This role is fully remote for candidates located anywhere in the Pacific Time Zone or Utah. If you are local to our El Segundo or Draper offices, this will be a hybrid role working 2 days a week in the office. NEOGOV is seeking a highly skilled Senior Revenue Operations (Data) Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team and play a critical role in supporting the success of our Sales and Marketing organizations. This individual will own high-impact analytics initiatives, deliver accurate and timely business insights, and help shape the future of reporting, automation, and data strategy across the revenue organization.

This role will be responsible not only for day-to-day analysis and reporting, but also for driving long-term planning around reporting automation, improving data quality and decision-making, mentoring junior analysts, and helping NEOGOV become a market leader in modern, AI-enabled RevOps reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, systems-minded, and comfortable working across large datasets, business stakeholders, and reporting tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and GTM systems. What You Will do Revenue Analytics and Business Insight Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business strategy and decision-making across Revenue Teams.

Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that support annual planning and ongoing business operations, including: Territory trends Quota and commission planning Pipeline management Pricing analysis Sales and marketing performance tracking Extract meaningful customer and market insights by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data using statistical and analytical methods. Identify anomalies, risks, and opportunities in revenue data, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders in real time. Develop individual KPIs, including sales quotas and territory management frameworks, by leveraging historical performance and forward-looking analysis.

Own and maintain TAM (Target Addressable Market) assignments within Salesforce, cross-referencing annual goals, current activity, and prior outcomes. AI and Innovation in RevOps Reporting Research, evaluate, and implement relevant AI and automation tools that improve reporting efficiency, insight generation, forecasting, and business decision support. Help NEOGOV establish a best-in-class approach to AI-enabled revenue analytics, including opportunities in natural language reporting, anomaly detection, data summarization, forecasting, and dashboard automation.

Partner with systems, operations, and business leaders to identify high-value use cases for AI in reporting and go-to-market analytics. Build processes and standards that enable the responsible, scalable use of AI within RevOps reporting. Reporting, Dashboarding, and Automation Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau, Excel, and Salesforce dashboards, reports, and visualizations for stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Build a long-term roadmap to automate recurring reporting and dashboard workflows, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and reduced manual effort. Use Python for data analysis and automation (e.g., pandas, data processing, API integrations, reporting workflows) Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across multiple systems and reporting environments. Use Salesforce ETL tools to insert, update, and delete data as needed to support business processes and data hygiene

Strategic Data Leadership Contribute to the development and execution of NEOGOV's broader data strategy, including the definition of annual KPIs, core business metrics, and reporting standards. Help define how business logic is documented and maintained, including KPI definitions, field mappings, data joins, and reporting governance. Lead efforts to standardize reporting logic across platforms so stakeholders can trust and consistently interpret the same metrics.

Team Development and Cross-Functional Partnership Mentor and support junior analysts by providing guidance on analytical thinking, reporting best practices, stakeholder communication, and tool usage. Help establish stronger team standards for documentation, QA, metric consistency, and dashboard design. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, RevOps, and GTM Systems teams to drive alignment and operational excellence.

Who You Are Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field Preferred Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Analytics, Finance, or related field) 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, FP&A, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics, ideally within a SaaS or high-growth sales organization. Strong experience supporting Sales and Marketing teams through reporting, KPI development, forecasting, and operational analysis. Advanced experience with Tableau, Excel, Salesforce reporting, and related analytics tools.

Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation (e.g., pandas, data processing, API integrations, reporting workflows) Demonstrated ability to improve reporting processes through automation and systems thinking. Familiarity with evaluating or implementing AI tools, reporting automation solutions, or modern analytics workflows is strongly preferred. Experience mentoring junior team members or serving as a lead analyst is highly desirable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex data concepts in a clear, concise, and business-relevant manner.
