Job description

Director, Trade Data Analysis and Transformation: For a consulting firm focused on capital markets risk and regulatory strategy, transformation, data and technology (RegEdge LLC – Bala Cynwyd, PA): oversee resource allocation and delivery for regulatory reporting initiatives, driving the design and implementation of control frameworks to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance. Lead management of complex option and equity trade data, validating execution accuracy and system linkages while enhancing database structures and developing SQL/Python solutions to meet FINRA requirements. Manage cross-functional data projects across Trade Surveillance, business intelligence, and regulatory reporting, coordinating stakeholder requirements, defining reporting standards, and guiding SDLC processes for seamless production transitions. Direct analytics initiatives to deliver actionable insights, strengthen risk management, and optimize workflows, while expanding oversight to foreign equity transactions and ensuring integration with evolving regulatory frameworks. Provide strategic leadership in automating compliance processes and reconciliations through advanced scripting in Java, Python, and C#, enabling timely error resolution and improved reporting integrity. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align data strategy with business objectives, while mentoring junior team members and fostering knowledge sharing to enhance organizational capabilities.


Requirements:


1. Master of Science or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Science and Mathematics, Information Technology or a related field.


2. 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of experience in Trade and Transaction Reporting. The required experience must include architecting and building transaction reporting and data correction pipelines, building comprehensive reconciliation systems, facilitating resource allocation across projects and knowledge of FINRA requirements.


In lieu of a Master of Science degree and 1 year of experience we accept a Bachelor of Science or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Science and Mathematics, Information Technology or a related field and 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive experience in Trade and Transaction Reporting. The required experience must include architecting and building transaction reporting and data correction pipelines, building comprehensive reconciliation systems, facilitating resource allocation across projects and knowledge of FINRA requirements.


3. Proficiency in SQL, C#, Java, Python, Tableau, QlikSense, Snowflake, Prompt Engineering, Microsoft Suite, JIRA and Confluence.


4. National telecommuting.


Work Location: Bala Cynwyd, PA.


Hours: 40 per week - Monday through Friday.
