About the Role
The Business Operations Analyst supports California Operations through project management, data analytics, contract administration, compliance initiatives, and strategic operational support. This role partners closely with operational leadership to identify business needs, evaluate risks, analyze performance trends, and implement solutions that improve operational effectiveness. Working with a high degree of independence, the Business Operations Analyst exercises sound judgment, manages multiple priorities, and provides actionable recommendations that support organizational goals and long-term business success.

Responsibilities
โ€ข Lead operational projects and strategic initiatives from planning through implementation and completion
โ€ข Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics to ensure successful outcomes
โ€ข Evaluate project requirements, risks, resource needs, and dependencies and recommend corrective actions when needed
โ€ข Analyze project performance and provide recommendations regarding operational improvements and resource allocation
โ€ข Prepare and present project status updates, analyses, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
โ€ข Develop and maintain operational dashboards, reports, scorecards, and performance metrics
โ€ข Analyze operational, contractual, and business performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
โ€ข Provide leadership with actionable recommendations based on data analysis and business intelligence findings
โ€ข Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis to support operational, financial, and strategic decisions
โ€ข Evaluate data integrity and reporting methodologies and recommend process improvements
โ€ข Support contract administration processes, including tracking requirements, deliverables, renewals, and compliance obligations
โ€ข Assist with RFP development, proposal coordination, contract reviews, and operational implementation activities
โ€ข Support state operations leadership with compliance initiatives, audits, reporting, and special projects
โ€ข Collaborate with internal departments including Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Quality, and Leadership teams
โ€ข Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and operational records
โ€ข Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
โ€ข Demonstrated experience in business operations, analytics, project management, or operational support functions
โ€ข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
โ€ข Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
โ€ข Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
