Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to accurately identify their mental health needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions that address a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, developmental disabilities, and more.
• Employ a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to art therapy, dance therapy, and clinical counseling, to foster client healing and personal growth.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to ensure all-encompassing care for patients.
• Maintain detailed, accurate patient records that adhere to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Engage regularly in continuous professional development, staying informed on the latest research, tools, and methodologies in mental health counseling.
• Uphold professional and ethical standards throughout all interactions and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a counselor at Prudence Integra Counseling, you will work with a wide range of clients including individuals facing life stressors, those managing chronic conditions, and particularly underserved populations who may not have easy access to mental health services. Your expertise will offer hope and healing to individuals dealing with crises, thus contributing to their greater well-being and stability.

Qualifications

• A valid Pennsylvania state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience providing professional mental health counseling services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to establish rapport effectively with clients.
• A strong commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards of practice in counseling.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health environment is a plus, providing insight into working with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with specialized therapeutic modalities (e.g., art therapy, dance therapy) is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
