Admissions Assistant (Full Time)
Primarily remote work; in-person events and travel occasionally required
Position Overview
Dwight Global Online School seeks an Admissions Assistant to support its Admissions team. The ideal Admissions Assistant will be a charismatic and energetic written and verbal communicator who connects well with prospective students and parents online; is adept at administrative systems and record-keeping; prides themselves on organization and efficiency; desires to learn the ins and outs of online education; and can skillfully promote the value of Dwight Global to families of students in grades 6 to 12 looking for flexibility to pursue tennis, sports, dance, travel, or because they prefer online learning. The successful candidate will be self-driven and can work independently, but also collaborates well as a member of a team.
Job Duties
Admissions and Recruitment
  • Reach out to leads
  • Respond to admissions inquiries prompt (ideally within a few hours; never more than 24 hours)
  • Respond to prospective applicant inquiries
  • Answer and return any calls that come to the Dwight Global phone line
  • Assist in management and upkeep of files on Ravenna
  • Uphold admissions process and procedures, such as sending internal assessments to applicants who are homeschooled
  • Maintain, create, and disseminate admissions and enrollment documents records
  • Collaborate with Registrar and other members of the academic team as needed
  • Maintain discretion and uphold confidentiality of student and family information at all times
  • Support the Admissions Team and Director of Enrollment as needed
  • Conduct admission consultations, interviews, and meetings with prospective students and their parents as needed for the department

Dwight Global Events
  • Schedule, coordinate, and participate in class visits and admissions events
  • Travel occasionally to tournaments, events, and fairs (approx 5 per year); these

will be scheduled in advance; overnight travel may be required
  • Collaborate with Director of Admissions to maintain fidelity to messaging and branding

Other
  • Attend regular Zoom meetings with Dwight Global team

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2+ years of admissions, recruitment, or sales experience preferred
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • High level of diplomacy and discretion, particularly with sensitive information
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities at the same time
  • Excellent organization, administrative, and time management skills
  • Strong team player, collaborative, and flexible (occasional nights and weekends may be required)
  • Experience in working in databases (preferably Ravenna, Blackbaud, Google Suite)
  • Outgoing and personable
