Labcorp is seeking a field-based Oncology Development Executive (Outside to join our team in the Colton, CA territory.

Responsibilities:

Business Development & Territory Growth

  • Drive new business acquisition, competitive displacement, market penetration, and revenue growth across oncology practices, pathology groups, cancer centers, health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and academic medical centers.

  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies that increase adoption of Labcorp's oncology diagnostics, hereditary cancer, and precision medicine portfolio.

  • Achieve territory revenue, market share, new account, and growth objectives.

  • Maintain accountability for opportunity management, pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and sales performance through Salesforce CRM utilization.

Strategic Account Management

  • Establish relationships with physician leaders, pathology groups, cancer center administrators, health system stakeholders, and executive decision makers.

  • Lead consultative sales engagements focused on oncology diagnostics, precision medicine adoption, operational efficiency, and testing strategy optimization.

  • Develop enterprise growth plans that expand utilization across health systems, cancer networks, and academic medical centers.

  • Influence testing pathways and adoption strategies within complex healthcare organizations.

Clinical & Scientific Expertise

  • Represent Labcorp's oncology diagnostics, hereditary cancer, molecular diagnostics, genomic profiling, liquid biopsy, ctDNA, MRD, biomarker, NGS-based testing, pathology, hematopathology, cytogenetics, FISH, flow cytometry, and virtual pathology solutions.

  • Translate clinical, genomic, and scientific evidence into business-focused recommendations that support customer decision making.

  • Maintain current knowledge of oncology diagnostics, hereditary cancer testing, molecular diagnostics, genomics, and precision medicine advancements.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate field sales, national accounts, pathology, medical affairs, market access, operations, and executive leadership resources to support growth initiatives.

  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and emerging oncology testing opportunities.

  • Travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.

Minimum requirements

  • High School Diploma with 9 years of relevant experience; or Associate degree with 7 years relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.

  • 5 years of oncology sales, oncology diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, pharmaceutical oncology, biotechnology oncology, laboratory services, or precision medicine commercial experience

  • 5 years of business development, territory management, or strategic account management experience

  • 5 years of experience selling into oncology practices, pathology groups, cancer centers, health systems, IDNs, or academic medical centers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or a scientific discipline.

  • 3 years of oncology diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, genomics, hereditary cancer, precision medicine, companion diagnostics, liquid biopsy, or comprehensive genomic profiling experience.

  • 3 years of experience commercializing NGS, molecular diagnostics, liquid biopsy, genomic profiling, hereditary cancer testing, pathology services, or precision medicine solutions.

  • 3 years of experience supporting health systems, IDNs, academic medical centers, enterprise accounts, GPO contracting, RFP processes, or strategic account management.

  • 3 years of experience selling pathology, hematopathology, cytogenetics, comprehensive genomic profiling, ctDNA, MRD, or biomarker testing solutions.

  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder healthcare sales cycles involving clinical, operational, and executive decision makers.

Pay Range:$130,000 - $160,000 base salary plus commission

All job offers will bebased on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.

Variable Compensation:The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics underthe plan.
