Job description

Be part of the Technology Revolution!

At OneEthos, we are redefining what a purpose-driven fintech startup looks like. Founded and built by community bankers to put best-in-class digital solutions to work for technologically underserved community financial institutions, we help strengthen their digital channels and grow loans and deposits profitably and responsibly while generating positive social, environmental, and financial returns.

Our remote first team of Software Engineers, Growth Accelerators and Partner Success Facilitators proves every day that ethical solar financing, building best-in-class technology and trailblazing impact banking solutions not only can but do go hand in hand. We don't just support environmental and social causes—we're built on them.

Welcome to the Movement

You are joining a team of driven, mission-aligned individuals ready to make an impact. They share your passion for sustainability, your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment—and, just like you, want to be part of something bigger!

We are goal-getters, go-getters, and changemakers. We celebrate wins, tackle challenges head-on, and push the boundaries of what can be achieved when technology and finance seamlessly integrate. We are fueled by purpose and growth, and with you on board, we will reach new heights in achieving our lofty goals.

What to Expect as a Product Management Intern:

You're about to embark on a bold, challenging, and game-changing journey. By joining our team, you will gain valuable insights into the inner workings of a fintech start up, sustainability, solar lending and what it takes to be a reliable technology partner to purpose-driven financial institutions. You will also gain insight into Climate First Bank, a OneEthos client and subsidiary under our Holding Company.

As the remote Product Management Intern, your primary focus is to learn how to lead product and market development efforts as well as support the software development process from inception through the commercialization process. You will partner with engineers, bankers, and numerous internal/external stakeholders to develop and commercialize products that meet the needs of OneEthos's customers.

What You'll Contribute in This Role:

  • You will build technical solutions and implement key measurements to track progress against business goals and desired security outcomes.
  • You will lead internal technical conversations by outlining the technical design, being the owner of trade-offs between technical cost and business value and optimizing QA/testing.
  • You will implement and manage robust risk systems throughout the software development lifecycle to quantify and manage the company's overall risk exposures.
  • You will define a clear and compelling vision for our products, aligning it with customer needs and larger business objectives.
  • You will rally and align stakeholders around the product vision, ensuring a shared understanding and commitment to success.
  • You will continuously monitor the market, conduct competitive analyses, and stay updated on industry trends to inform product strategy.
  • You will create and maintain the company's product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the product vision and business objectives. You will also continuously update and communicate the roadmap to guide development efforts and maintain transparency across teams.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document detailed product requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • You will prioritize product features and capabilities to maximize value and achieve business objectives.
  • You will create a shared knowledge base across larger teams, enabling independent decision-making that aligns with the product vision.
  • You will understand and represent user needs throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • You will deeply comprehend the company's business model and how it relates to product strategy.
  • You will be knowledgeable about the history of products and their evolution to make informed decisions.
  • You will work closely with the CEO and CTO and refine the product strategy and vision, ensuring it aligns with the company's overall business goals.

What You Will Leverage in this Internship:

•Your Education and Enthusiasm

Your technology related education is equipping you with the technical understanding and tools to be successful in this role. You take the initiative to build on your education with high-profile projects, participation in targeted clubs and proactive completion of certifications. You are

•Entrepreneurial Self-Starter

You love taking charge of your work product and take great pride in delivering consistently great results. Once you know what is expected of you, you run with — and know when to slow down and ask for help. You understand what it takes to bring tasks to completion, have the ability to anticipate and mitigate slowdowns and have a unique ability to balance efficiency and attention to detail. A high-pace and high-expectation environment excites you and you can't wait to push yourself to new professional heights in a company that rewards high performance.
