The Spouse and Family Treatment Care Center is a community-focused health clinic located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. As a member of our community health clinic, you will utilize telehealth platforms to connect with clients, conduct assessments, deliver interventions, and maintain ongoing therapeutic relationships. You will have access to modern mental health software tools that facilitate case documentation, communication, and scheduling, ensuring efficient and seamless care delivery.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring immediate support and appropriate follow-up care.
• Facilitate evidence-based counseling sessions focusing on issues such as addiction recovery, chronic pain management, and treatment for anxiety and depression.
• Lead parent support groups and community workshops, focusing on issues related to child development, parenting strategies, and interventions for high-risk families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive mental health services, ensuring integrated care addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Mentor and train community professionals and families on mental health best practices, enhancing understanding and reducing stigma around mental health issues.

Your primary focus will be on children and families, specifically those dealing with complex emotional and behavioral challenges. You will work with clients ranging from infants to young adults (ages 0-21) and their parents, providing tailored interventions that respect the unique needs of high-risk populations, including those affected by prenatal substance exposure. Your expertise will also extend to addressing gender identity issues within familial contexts.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related mental health discipline.
• An active and appropriate California LMFT license is required to practice.
• Demonstrated experience working with mental health treatment and intervention techniques for children and their families, preferably in community health settings.

• Knowledge and practical experience in parent-child interventions specifically designed for high-risk children.
• Understanding of normal child development, effective parenting practices, and issues related to child abuse and neglect.
• A history of facilitating therapeutic groups or workshops for families and caregivers.
