Their thirst for the Word is being quenched by being taught how to observe the Word through Inductive Bible Study, which is empowering people to discover truth for themselves, and the result is lives are being transformed.POSITION TITLE: Graphic Designer REPORTS TO: Art DirectorGENERAL SUMMARY: The Graphic Designer is a core member of the marketing team, responsible for translating established creative direction into engaging designs with high visual impact across digital and print channels for the promotion and development of Precept goods, services, and ideas, which encourage a positive reader response.This role is essential to the speed and quality of the team's visual output, ensuring every asset meets brand standards and technical specifications before it reaches its audience.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Design ProductionExecutes creative direction established by the Art Director, producing finished assets across campaigns and projects from brief to delivery. Produces assets for digital marketing (advertising graphics, social media graphics, website content, and related formats) as well as print marketing pieces (study materials, portfolios, swag, and related formats) for Precept goods, services, and ideas. Manages and completes print projects accurately and on schedule. Prepares print-ready files, works with vendors to gather samples, quotes, and timelines, and ensures on-time delivery while maintaining quality control throughout. Performs press checks when necessary, visually inspecting and approving printed marketing and branding materials prior to press release or production to confirm technical accuracy and consistent production standards.Brand StandardsUpholds Precept's brand identity and standards, applying brand guidelines consistently across all assets and flagging ambiguities or gaps to the Art Director. Maintains working knowledge of current design trends and how they inform visual communication decisions.Project & Production ManagementManages personal workflow according to priorities established by the Art Director, working efficiently under deadlines and identifying timeline risks before they affect delivery. Develops and maintains a resource library, cataloging marketing assets within a central repository to keep the team's files organized and accessible. Oversees postage and mailing logistics for printed marketing materials, including coordinating shipments, purchasing postage, and confirming on-time delivery.Team SupportSupports the onboarding of contract designers by orienting them to file organization, brand guidelines, and workflow expectations.Other duties as assigned by the Art Director.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with demonstrated ability to work efficiently across Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for both digital and print output. Strong command of production fundamentals: file preparation, color management, print specifications, and digital asset sizing across formats and platforms. Ability to accurately execute within established brand guidelines and maintain consistency across a high volume of assets. Awareness of current design trends and how they inform visual communication decisions, with curiosity to keep developing that knowledge over time. Understanding of design techniques including effective use of color, typography, and layout, paired with practical knowledge of print and digital production standards. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines consistently, and communicate proactively when priorities shift. Clear and professional communication with internal teammates and external partners, including vendors and contract designers. Ability to receive creative direction and feedback constructively, incorporate input into work, and ask clarifying questions when direction is ambiguous. Understanding of how visual decisions contribute to marketing performance, with interest in learning how design connects to audience response and measurable outcomes. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and carry projects through to completion with minimal supervision. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in art, design, or a related field preferred.Portfolio required.
