Job description

Creative Strategist (Performance Marketing)

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)

Compensation: $100,000 base salary + up to $10,000 quarterly performance bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a Creative Strategist who knows how to create paid social ads that convert.

This isn't a brand marketing role. We're looking for someone who has personally developed high-performing ad concepts, scripts, and creative for Meta, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms. You'll work closely with the media buying team to develop fresh creative ideas, test new angles, and continuously improve campaign performance.

If you naturally think in hooks, offers, and conversion psychology—not logos and brand guidelines—you'll thrive here.

Responsibilities
  • Develop creative concepts, hooks, scripts, and messaging for paid social campaigns.
  • Produce 50+ creative concepts per week across video, static, and UGC-style ads.
  • Create direct response copy that increases click-through and conversion rates.
  • Analyze winning ads and identify why they perform.
  • Adapt successful creative concepts for different audiences and demographics.
  • Collaborate with media buyers to test, optimize, and scale winning creative.
  • Ensure advertising complies with platform policies and compliance standards.
  • Stay current on Meta, TikTok, and social media advertising trends.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in direct response or performance marketing.
  • Experience creating paid social ads that have successfully scaled.
  • Strong understanding of Meta, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and UGC advertising.
  • Experience in high-volume creative testing environments.
  • Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
Required Skills
  • Expert direct response copywriting (AIDA, PAS, objection handling, urgency, social proof, curiosity-driven hooks).
  • Deep understanding of consumer psychology, persuasion, and conversion principles.
  • Ability to develop new creative angles and campaign concepts consistently.
  • Experience using Meta Ad Library and competitive research to identify winning ads.
  • Strong understanding of short-form video structure, including hooks, retention, and calls-to-action.
Preferred Experience

Candidates from the following backgrounds are highly preferred:

  • Performance marketing agencies
  • Lead generation companies
  • Affiliate marketing businesses
  • DTC/eCommerce brands

Industry experience in Mass Tort, Consumer Finance, Debt Relief, HELOC, Legal Lead Generation, Insurance, or Health & Wellness is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

You are a performance marketer first and a creative second. You know how to identify winning ad angles, write compelling scripts, and rapidly produce new concepts based on data—not opinions. You enjoy testing, learning, and optimizing creative that drives measurable business results.
