Job description

Resp & Qualifications

PURPOSE

Director, Product Delivery is a strategic technology and business leader responsible for defining, delivering, and optimizing enterprise solutions built on the Salesforce ecosystem. This role partners closely with business executives, product owners, operations leaders, and technology teams to drive product strategy, delivery excellence, platform modernization, and business value realization.

The ideal candidate combines thought leadership, strong relationship management, and exceptional problem-solving capabilities with deep experience leading large-scale Salesforce product and delivery organizations. This leader will be accountable for aligning technology investments with business priorities while ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Strategic Leadership & Vision - Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for Salesforce-based products and capabilities across the enterprise.  Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology executives, providing thought leadership on Salesforce platform capabilities, industry trends, and digital transformation opportunities.   Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve customer, member, provider, agent, or employee experience through Salesforce solutions.  Establish delivery strategies that balance speed, quality, risk, and business outcomes. Responsible for sponsoring strategic initiatives, influencing product strategy, developing solutions, and securing funding and prioritization to proceed. 
  • Product Delivery & Execution - Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and business objectives. Oversee portfolio planning, funding, resource management, and execution across multiple product teams and delivery streams. Establish and maintain governance processes, delivery metrics, and operational excellence standards. Ensure successful implementation of Salesforce solutions including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Health Cloud, or other platform capabilities as applicable. Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations while driving timely resolution.  Directly responsible for the software engineering teams supporting product delivery.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development - Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams including product managers, delivery managers, architects, business analysts, and Salesforce professionals.  Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. Establish workforce strategies that ensure appropriate skills, succession planning, and leadership development.  Build strong partnerships with strategic vendors and system integrators. Provides direction, prioritization and motivation to program team staff, in order to manage allocation of resources to meet work fluctuations and budget and time constraints across multiple program and industry mandates. 
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong partnerships with business leaders, executive sponsors, product owners, vendors, and cross-functional technology teams. Facilitate alignment across diverse stakeholder groups with competing priorities. Influence decision-making through effective communication, data-driven insights, and executive-level presentations. Serve as the primary escalation point for critical delivery challenges and strategic initiatives.
  • Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement - Drive resolution of complex business and technology challenges through structured analysis and creative problem solving. Identify process improvement opportunities across the product lifecycle and delivery organization. Implement best practices for Agile delivery, DevOps, product management, and Salesforce platform governance. Champion operational excellence through performance metrics, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Experience: 8 years Related professional experience;3 years Management experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree; 10 years related professional experience

Salary Range: 159,680 - 296,406
