Position: Mechanical Engineering Writer - Engineering FRQ
Type: Contract
Compensation: $85/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Author original, free-response engineering problems grounded in real industry scenarios.
  • Write complete expert-level solutions for each problem.
  • Validate difficulty by running problems against three frontier language models until at least one fails.
  • Collaborate with AI research teams to improve problem-solving approaches.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and enhance AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of hands-on professional/industry experience in design, analysis, or R&D.
