Job description

The Sales Director is a trusted member of the Sales Team reporting to the Head of Sales. This role is responsible for demonstrating the value of 829 Studios' performance marketing services to prospective clients. The Sales Director is adept at finding leads, building sales proposals, and generating new business by closing deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings

  • Present and demonstrate the value of 829 Studios' services to potential clients

  • Audit sales prospects accounts

  • Close deals and negotiate contracts

  • Manage the customer relationship and provide ongoing support

  • Track and report on sales performance

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, cold email, and cold calling

  • Qualify leads by Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)

  • Schedule meetings with qualified leads

  • Maintain a CRM system to track and manage leads

  • Participate in weekly sales calls and training sessions

  • Meet a monthly recurring revenue (MRR) sales quota

  • Attend industry events and conferences

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong understanding of the marketing industry, preferably previous experience selling marketing services

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, partnerships or business development

  • Experience selling performance marketing services (SEO, PPC, Social Media, Email, PR, Websites)

Salary Range: $100,000-$135,000 + commission
We determine compensation based on experience, demonstrated skills, and current market conditions at the time of hire to ensure fairness and consistency across roles. Actual compensation will depend on experience and may be adjusted based on skills, qualifications, and alignment with the scope and impact of the role.
