• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapies.
• Deliver therapeutic services to diverse groups including individuals, couples, and families, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and trainings to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mental health research and best practices.

Your work will be centered around assisting adolescents, adults, and families experiencing mental health challenges. Many clients served through Gifted Hands Counseling Center may have limited access to care, which makes the role of the LPCC crucial in bridging those gaps and providing essential therapeutic support.

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• A valid and active LPCC license in the state of California, ensuring compliance with all state regulations.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a strong emphasis on clinical practice.
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards pertinent to the practice of counseling, with a commitment to upholding these standards in all interactions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele.
• Experience working collaboratively as part of a healthcare team to deliver holistic client care.
• Proficiency in EMR software and related technologies to streamline clinical documentation and client management.

• Specialization in specific therapeutic areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly regarded.
• A track record of effective use of various therapeutic modalities to address client needs and improve outcomes.
• Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar environment is advantageous.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, based on experience and caseload capacity.
