Feelings Forward Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care that aims to enhance the mental health and well-being of our clients. Your primary focus will be on delivering therapeutic interventions that utilize evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Somatic Based methods, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

• Conduct initial assessments to gather comprehensive information about clients’ emotional and mental health needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique goals and challenges of each client.
• Facilitate meaningful therapeutic interactions by actively listening, asking targeted questions, and helping clients explore their thoughts and feelings.
• Implement emergency protocols when clients are in distress or facing crisis situations.
• Guide clients through mental exercises and role-play activities that enhance therapeutic progress.
• Offer insightful counseling and support on topics relevant to clients’ lives and experiences.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.
• Astrong emphasis is placed on specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse, or trauma-informed care.
• Solid understanding of ethical practices and legal standards relevant to mental health.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that enable effective communication and rapport-building with a diverse range of clients.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software is preferred to ensure efficient documentation and data management.

While candidates with the required qualifications are encouraged to apply, those with specialized experience in family systems therapy, trauma interventions, or substance use disorders will be viewed favorably.
