About the Role

Corebridge Financial Senior Relationship Managers (SRM) play a significant role in client retention by developing and maintaining close, positive client relationships through proactive communication, situational analysis, alternative generation, and information sharing with our most strategically important plans. This position will also work closely with their respective regional leadership team to maximize client satisfaction and net flow results in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationship with plan sponsors' executive management and administrative personnel
  • Play lead role during Annual Plan Review, typically presenting the following the Plan Summary, Legislative Updates, Fund and Investment overview, Communication and Education history and opportunity
  • Take a leading role at finalist presentations for clients in your region
  • Facilitate the plan setup process and ongoing administration of the plan
  • Provide advice and serve as a professional resource to internal and external clients by communicating pension related technical knowledge efficiently and effectively through correspondence, presentations, and/or consultation with clients.
  • Partner with Marketing Communications to coordinate and customize participant communication to drive desired participant outcomes
  • Apply modeling and statistics to identify unique solutions to drive positive client outcomes
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends in the retirement space
  • Drive client satisfaction and provide client references to leverage for business development
  • Anticipate external customer needs and potential problems and fulfill client needs where possible
  • Ensures that Corebridge delivers on our service and performance agreements
  • Provide thought leadership to clients and the firm
  • Actively represents the department with all projects and strategic initiatives throughout the organization; Coordinates the planning, implementation, and monitoring of special projects.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' experience is preferred in areas of benefits design, compliance, and Implementation with appropriate designation (i.e. CEBS, ASPA, etc.)
  • Pension experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or other related field
  • Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of ERISA and succeeding legislation governing qualified pension plan types
  • Recognized ability to deliver excellent customer service and customer retention
  • Demonstrated ability to continually meet and exceed Plan Sponsor and Participant goals
  • Ability to manage multiple institutional client relationships independently
  • Develops institutional client case studies and client references each year
  • Demonstrate effectiveness in dealing with client organizations, especially top management
  • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills including the ability to make presentations on complex information
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 required as well as potentially SIE.
