Job description

Role:  Senior Copywriter

Location:  Remote - Minneapolis, Minnesota

About the role:

This is an opportunity to join OLIVER's dedicated in-house studio embedded with a leading healthcare education institution as Senior Copywriter - crafting content that helps adult learners, working professionals, and healthcare workers take the most important step of their careers.

You'll write across the full content spectrum - email, paid social, digital display, web, and video - for five distinct higher education brands with different voices, audiences, and program portfolios. Your work bridges the gap between curiosity and choice, delivering answers that make a complex decision feel clearer.

You'll work within a high-velocity, AI-augmented studio where Pencil is part of the workflow, and creative quality is never compromised by speed.

We support flexible working and are open to different arrangements. We offer reasonable adjustments throughout the process.

What you will be doing:
  • Write high-quality copy across all channels and formats - email, paid social, digital display, web, and video scripts
  • Maintain deep brand fluency across all five healthcare education institutions, understanding the distinct voice, audience, and compliance requirements of each
  • Collaborate with Art Directors and the Associate Creative Director to ensure copy and design integrate seamlessly across all assets
  • Mentor and support junior Copywriters in the Toronto team, providing clear creative feedback and guidance
  • Work within Pencil and other AI-assisted tools to enhance content production speed and quality - using AI to explore and iterate while maintaining rigorous human editorial judgment
  • Manage multiple concurrent briefs within OMG, prioritizing effectively and delivering to agreed SLAs without compromising quality
  • Ensure all copy is audience-appropriate, brand-compliant, and sensitive to the compliance requirements of higher education and healthcare marketing
  • Contribute to the development of campaign concepts, content frameworks, and messaging strategies alongside the CRM Strategy Lead and ACD
  • Participate in brand immersion and onboarding sessions to build deep institutional knowledge of university programs, audiences, and marketing priorities
What you need to be great in this role:
  • A portfolio of strong writing across digital channels - email, social, web, and campaign copy - that demonstrates both craft and strategic thinking
  • Proven ability to write in multiple brand voices with precision, adapting tone and register for different audiences and contexts
  • Experience writing in or adjacent to higher education, healthcare, or mission-driven categories is a strong differentiator; an understanding of adult learner psychology and high-stakes decision-making is particularly valued
  • Experience working in high-volume content production environments, with an organized, deadline-driven working style
  • A collaborative, mentoring mindset - you invest in the quality of the team's work, not just your own
  • Advanced use of AI writing and content tools to enhance creative output and production efficiency
  • Experience designing AI-assisted content workflows for self and team - including prompting strategies, editorial QA processes, and quality benchmarking
  • Ability to train others on effective AI tool usage within a copywriting context
  • Rigorous human editorial oversight: clear judgment on when AI enhances versus detracts from creative quality and brand integrity
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from CAD $114,750.00 to $128,250.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER's total compensation package.
