Job description

About Us:

Pacvue is the leading Commerce Media OS, powering over $12B in advertising spend across 100+ global retail media networks including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Instacart, Criteo, and CitrusAd. Powered by industry-leading AI and real-time data, Pacvue enables over 70,000 brands and agencies to maximize advertising performance, drive incrementality, and expand reach across the commerce universe from a single mission control. As of 2025, Pacvue powers 12% of total retail media ad spend worldwide excluding China. Combined with Helium 10's SMB solutions, Pacvue delivers the industry's most comprehensive platform for businesses of all sizes.

At Pacvue and Helium 10, great careers don't just happen — they're built. Here, you'll rise as an industry leader, push the boundaries of innovation, own your journey, and thrive as part of an inclusive global community that's redefining the future of commerce.

About the Role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer on our Platform Engineering team, you'll bring deep, hands-on expertise to solve infrastructure challenges with minimal oversight across Pacvue and Prism — designing the systems, pipelines, and standards that let every engineering team ship faster and more reliably. You'll work independently on high-impact problems, mentor other engineers, and drive your own projects end-to-end with little need for day-to-day direction

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize the cloud infrastructure (AWS/Kubernetes/EKS) and CI/CD pipelines that power Pacvue and Prism across multiple product and engineering teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents of varying scope and complexity, using sound judgment to resolve issues that don't always have a documented playbook
  • Drive infrastructure projects end-to-end — from planning and architecture through documentation — with only high-level check-ins along the way
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to establish infrastructure standards, CI/CD best practices, and operational procedures that improve reliability and developer productivity
  • Serve as a go-to resource for other teams on deployment strategy and infrastructure decisions when they need input
  • Monitor system performance and security proactively — including secret hygiene, access controls, and observability — identifying risks early and preventing future issues

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional DevOps, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering experience, with advanced knowledge of AWS (networking, compute, storage, and security)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in at least one language for automation and tooling (Python, Go, Bash, or similar) and a track record designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex multi-system problems, and mentor other engineers
  • Experience in high-growth e-commerce/ad-tech environments, observability tooling (OTel, New Relic, Prometheus, or similar), and infrastructure security/compliance/disaster recovery planning

Benefits:

  • Flexible Paid Time Off
  • Paid Holidays and Floating Holidays
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA with employer contribution, Life Insurance and Pet Insurance
  • 401k with Employer Match
  • Take up to 2 Days of Paid Time Off to Volunteer with a 501c Organization
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Company-subsidized membership to Wellhub and Peloton
  • Fertility and family-building information platform through Carrot

The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000-165,000 USD. The actual salary will vary depending on the applicant's experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data for their location. This position is also eligible for an additional annual bonus compensation through one of Pacvue's highly attractive incentive plans, full details will be provided during the recruitment process.
