The Opportunity:

Help shape the future of our Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) business. We're hiring a Channel Sales Manager to grow strategic markets, drive sales excellence and strengthen the company's distribution channel partners. This role reports to the ATS Business Unit General Manager so high visibility with leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategy: Build and scale an effective distributor/dealer channel program aligned with company growth and revenue goals.

  • Recruit and onboard new partners: Identify highpotential distributors/dealers and lead them through a structured onboarding process.

  • Manage distributor relationships: Drive strong, ongoing engagement with channel partners and build multilayered relationships at national and branch levels.

  • Drive channel performance: Set KPIs, monitor execution, and implement plans to accelerate rep productivity and sales growth.

  • Support new distributors with training and resources: Deliver product training, provide commercial support, and host joint events with reps to increase customer engagement.

  • Collaborate across the business: Partner with Customer Service, Engineering, Production, and Marketing to support channel needs and deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Forecast and report pipeline: Provide accurate visibility into partnerdriven revenue, opportunities, and forecasts.

  • Analyze the market: Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs; share insights to inform and improve market strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience managing channel partners (distributors/dealers) in a manufacturing environment.

  • Technical sales experience, preferably in the Emergency Power sector or electrical/mechanical products.

  • Proven success in building and scaling partner networks, achieving growth that exceeds market expectations.

  • Strong understanding of channel partner strategies, market dynamics, and gotomarket models.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to quickly build and maintain strong relationships at multiple organizational levels.

  • Datadriven decision maker with the ability to analyze trends and turn insights into action.

  • Selfstarter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Resultsoriented with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.

  • Ability to travel 50-70%; proximity to a major airport preferred.

Salary Range: $110,000 - 135,000 USD + incentive


The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position.
