Our client is a growing manufacturing organization looking for a Contract Recruiter to support hiring initiatives across multiple production facilities. This position will partner closely with hiring managers to recruit and onboard hourly employees while maintaining an efficient and organized recruitment process.

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contract Recruiter to manage recruiting efforts for hourly manufacturing positions. This role will support the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and hiring documentation.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and able to manage multiple open positions while building strong relationships with hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruiting activities from initial candidate outreach through onboarding.
  • Source and recruit candidates for hourly manufacturing roles, including production workers, forklift operators, maintenance technicians, and drivers.
  • Utilize Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms to identify qualified candidates.
  • Review resumes and conduct initial phone screenings.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Follow up with hiring managers to collect feedback and assist with hiring decisions.
  • Support offer letter preparation and candidate communication.
  • Maintain job postings and manage candidate pipelines.
  • Track recruiting activity using Excel spreadsheets and internal tracking systems.
  • Complete onboarding tasks, including background checks, E-Verify processing, and new hire documentation.
  • Ensure confidential employee information is handled accurately and securely.
  • Maintain recruiting templates and processes to improve efficiency.
