As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that include pre-crisis and crisis strategies, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessments.
• Completing all necessary documentation in a timely manner to meet regulatory standards and organizational policy.
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools as guided by the clinical team to ensure consistent and reliable assessment outcomes.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that facilitate client growth and recovery.
• Participating actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold clinic standards.
• Serving as a liaison with service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance support for our client population.
• Maintaining effective communication channels to meet contract standards and promote our mission within the wider community.
• Building connections with local, state, and federal agencies to promote our programs and secure partnerships and funding.
• Engaging in professional development activities including attending conferences, participating in statewide meetings, and representing the clinic in relevant settings.
• Embodying the agency’s mission, values, and principles in all interactions and duties.
• Completing any additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Our clients represent a diverse range of individuals with unique mental health needs. You will be responsible for working with adults, adolescents, and families dealing with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and other psychological conditions. Understanding the nuances of each individual’s background and personal circumstances is crucial in providing effective support and guiding them in their recovery process.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field.
• Active LMHC licensure from the state of Massachusetts.
• Proven ability to maintain clinical records and generate reports that meet regulatory expectations.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills suitable for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and compassionately.
• Sound judgment and the capability to make decisions grounded in professional expertise.
